⚠️ FFBC: A Dozen Nursing Homes Added to Florida’s Watch List• FFBC
State regulators have added twelve nursing homes to Florida’s Nursing Home Watch List since the beginning of the year, according watch list data obtained and tallied by Families for Better Care.
The most recent watch list additions include a broad mix of regulatory infractions, ranging from pressure sore neglect and broken sprinkler systems to resident injuries suffered from falls and failure by operators to have approved disaster plans on file.
The map below contains the list of added nursing homes, a brief violation description that landed the nursing home on the watch list, and links to corresponding inspection reports* (unfortunately, state officials continue to redact critical information contained with the inspection reports despite calls to reverse the self-imposed redaction policy).
